ITINERARY

Day 1: Castejón de Sos

Arrival in Castejón de Sos. Welcome + briefing before the start of the trip.

On the first day you’ll get to know some of the most popular areas of Benasque Valley, located at the foot of Aneto (3.404m). Surrounded by an impressive alpine landscape we will ride over 2.600m on the highest part of the entire range, where Aneto (3.404 m) and many other summits over 3,000 m stand out.

Today we’ll ride on deep forests and green meadows, and will get close to several waterfalls in the surroundings of Sierra Negra descent, one of the most spectacular and wild areas of the entire range before ending the stage in Castejón de Sos.

Dinner and accommodation in Castejón de Sos (not included).

Day 2: Castejón de Sos - Bielsa

On this second and demanding stage  we’ll make one of the longest hike-a-bike sections of the entire tour. However, the landscapes that we will find are absolutely worth.

Leaving behind the summits of Benasque Valley, crowned by the southernmost glaciers of Europe and always surrounded by an impressive and wild alpine landscape, we will climb over 2,400 m, from where a spectacular descent will take us through forests and pristine wáter lakes to Bielsa, the medieval village where the stage ends.

Dinner and accommodation in Bielsa (not included).

Day 3: Bielsa - Bielsa

The third stage gets deep into Bielsa Valley, a place of wild nature and deep glacial valleys having a wide network of ancient trails that will delight you. There might be hike-a-bike sections, of course! In adittion, it will also be necessary to face long singletrack climbs to reach the best descents of the valley, in a landscape of alpine meadows and stone huts that will take us to places such as the Alps or Canada. The final descent to Bielsa will for sure blow your mind, no doubt!

Dinner and accommodation in Bielsa (not included).

Day 4: Bielsa - Castejón de Sos

Last stage begins with the ascent to one of the highest cols of the area with the help of a 4x4 vehicle. Then, we’ll ride on the border between Spain and France by an alpine land featuring sublime landscapes.

After a short hike-a-bike section, we’ll ride on a spectacular landscape located over 2.600m where a extreme descent starts. This is one of the favourite trails of Trans-Nomad riders. Again, a wonderful & demanding descent will take us to the end of the stage located in Castejón de Sos.
