1. What’s the minimum size of the group?

There is no minimum size on bespoke tours. However, you must consider that budget is tighter for bigger groups.

2. What’s the age of the people joining INIZIA BIKE TRAVEL tours?

Tours are usually done by 30-60 years-old people. People under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.

3. What kind of tour can INIZIA BIKE TRAVEL design?

We design any kind of MTB tour including e-MTB and Enduro tours. We'll always adapt to your needs so you can get a wonderful cycling experience. 

4. Do we have to carry our luggage during the tour?

You can carry all your luggage or just a day-pack whilst riding. If you decide to hire our support vehicle it can bring your luggage to the next accommodation.  

5. Who will be guiding us?

Your local guides are experienced professionals and have a great knowledge of the area. Your safety is the most important for them. They will always be happy to answer your questions.

6. What sort of accommodation I'll find?

We can book any kind of accommodation you need. However, you must consider that depending on the area you want to explore finding some kinds of accommodation might be difficult. We'll do our best to find what you need. Comfort will always be our number one priority. 

7. What if I have intolerance to any food or medicine?

IF YOU HAVE ANY SPECIAL NEED OR INTOLERANCE, let us know and we’ll adapt to your needs. We'll make sure that food is right for you and in case of accident we'll let the doctor know about your intolerance.

8. Do I have to bring my own bike? What kind of bike is recommended for riding in the Pyrenees and Southern Sierras?

We encourage you to travel with your own bike. It is easy, cheaper and comfort is guaranteed. Don’t worry! We’ll help you to set up your bike before the start.  

Pyrenees and Southern Sierras offer a wide variety of trails. Let us know what kind of tour you are willing to do and we'll tell you about the bike that you need.

9. Where do I park my car during the tour?

Cars will be parked in a “safe place” located at the town where the tour starts. INIZIA BIKE TRAVEL will not be responsible of the posible damages caused by third parties.

You’ll not have access to the car during the tour. Be sure you don’t forget any equipment. 

10. What clothes / gear should I bring?

Temperatures vary greatly in Spain. Be sure you take some layers of breathable clothing to ensure that you can always adapt to the temperature changes. You must also bring a waterproof & windstopper jacket.

Remember that tours take place in mountain areas where climate change fast.

INIZIA BIKE TRAVEL will carry some maintenance kit & tools that will be avaliable in case of damages. However, due to the differences between brands they might be not suitable for your bike. It is recommended to bring your own replacements.

ABOUT DESTINATION

Entry requirements & Visas

All travelers need a valid passport or ID. Some travelers (Out of EU) might need an entry visa.

Currency

The official currency in Spain is Euro. During the trip, you’ll find ATMs located in some of the towns. You’ll be able to pay with a Credit card in most establishments (be aware of the fees charged by the different banks). Since we will travel through a mountain territory, we recommend bringing a minimum amount of cash.

Travel insurance

To travel with INIZIA BIKE TRAVEL it is mandatory to have a health insurance with care coverage for any type of illness that may appear during the trip. For people coming from European countries European Health Card is enough.

In addition, it is recommended to obtain federative / sports insurance for the practice of cycling covering the costs of an accident while practicing this sport.

REMEMBER THAT SOME OF THE TOURS ARE DONE IN A WILD ENVIRONMENT. In many places, helicopter rescue is needed. RIDE CAREFULLY AND REMEMBER, THIS TOUR IS NOT A COMPETITION.

If you have no insurance, contact us and we will study the different ways of obtaining health insurance during the tour.

Vaccines

Visit your medical center and ask what do you need when travelling to Spain. IF YOU ARE INTOLERANT TO ANY MEDICINE, tell us and we will tell the doctor in case you need health care.

In case of emergency

In Spain, emergency number is 112. It is mandatory to know this number. In case of accident, our guides will contact authorities.

Remember that the dialing code in Spain is (+34).

Safety

Spain is a very safe place. However, do not forget to take care of your luggage and sports equipment, watch your valuables and keep your equipment stored in a safe place. Bring a copy of your personal documents and keep them separate from the original ones.

Wifi / Internet

Wifi will be available in some of the accommodations. However, consider that we are moving through very isolated areas so it is possible that sometimes we do not even have mobile coverage.

BOOKING AND CANCELLATION POLICY

INIZIA BIKE TRAVEL tours can be booked through the website.

In addition, we offer a cancellation insurance service that you can purchase when booking. In case that you finally don’t join us, you will get your money back.

Please, remember that our cancellation policy is strict. If your reservation does not include cancellation insurance, we will not be able to refund the amount of money you’ve paid when booking.
